: This is a Kea, renowned for tearing the rubber from your car windows and vandalizing other parts of otherwise perfectly well working vehicles. Those beaks are sharp!
One of it’s nicknames was “the feathered wolf” : In the 18th and 19th cetury they preyed on sheep and were hunted to near extinction.
Another: “Clown of the mountains”, they will investigate anything from backpacks to barbeques, from boots to boats and fly of with anything they can carry
